Carly Rae

Carly Rae Jepsen, born in Mission British Columbia Canada on 21 November, 1985. As in her teens, she was already playing in local talent competitions. When she graduated in high school, she went to at the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, British Columbia. She auditioned in 2007 for the Canadian Idol fifth season and reached the top 3. Tug of War, her debut album, debuted following the 2008 show. It became a massive success which landed her at number 6 on the Canadian Albums Chart. The singer released her follow-up album Kiss in 2012 that produced the smash single Call Me Maybe. It was an international chart-topper, reaching the top of charts in over 18 countries. The album sold more than 15 million copies were sold. She has since released three albums, received several awards, and was nominated for two Grammys. Carly Rae Jepsen has earned a considerable amount of money from her music career.
