Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). After that she enrolled in the Bratpack and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over twenty years. Her film career began early in the 1980s with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of applause. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown, and Alan Ruck also appeared. Following her success in her first film, she was later seen in the 1985 comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the best high school movies of all time. Although the budget for this movie was just $1 million, it earned more than $50 million. Also, she began to appear on a number of television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. It was a show designed for teens and aired beginning in April 1980.
