Mary Marg Helgenberger, born on the 16th of November, 1958 in the United States is an actress. In the early 1980s, she started her professional career, and was recognized for portraying Siobhan Ryan in the soap opera daytime Ryan's Hope between 1982 and the year 1986. Her most well-known character has been Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation from 2000-13 as well as Immortality (2005). Vegas 2022 to the present) was the sequel to the film in which she returned to her role. Helgenberger has also earned a name for portraying the role of K.C. Koloski as K.C. Koloski in China Beach, an ABC series China Beach (1988-91) which brought her the 1990 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. She also has roles in her role on the TV series Under the Dome as well as the character Intelligence. Additionally, she appeared in the films Species (2000) Erin Brockovich (2000) Species II (2002) and Mr. Brooks (2007). She is one of four children. McCain has received her formal education at Phoenix Country Day School followed by Xavier College Preparatory a Catholic, all-girl, private high school. She graduated in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in art history at Columbia University. In 2017, she was a part of The View's daytime talk program The View where she co-hosted until 2021 and received 4 Daytime Emmy award nominations for her efforts. Other ventures McCain became a columnist for The Daily Mail newspaper after her three-year tenure on The View. McCain wrote four books including My Dad John McCain (2008) Dirty Sexy Politics (2010) America You Sexy Bitch : A Love letter to Freedom together with Michael Ian Black (2012) as well as Bad Republican (2022).
