Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it in addition. Annie is the only woman to ever win two CrossFit Games. She was second in both the 2010, and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit participant and media star is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She has gained fame for being the sole woman who has ever won two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie, her parents, and siblings were all born and raised within Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young time, she was an avid sports fan and was a fan of exercising. She won many medals during school competitions. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 (by 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit training in California in 2009. She was able to perform quite well through the first couple of competitions. She was among the in the top 10 among over 70. She was not able to earn any titles, but ended up in 11th place on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed second place, and also won an Olympic silver medal that same year. In her second year, she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she was the first woman who won CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman to win the two CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, in 2014, she was awarded a Silver Medal, as well as, more recently in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie is getting recognition for her athletic skills, has been featured in commercials for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among many more.
